In association with Chesney Chanters & Reeds, Closkelt is pleased to present '2020 Vision - The Pre-Season Concert' which will take place at The Market Place Theatre in Armagh on 18 April 2020.
Showcasing some of Northern Ireland's top pipe bands, drum majors and highland dancers, the evening should boast a preview of sets for the 2020 season and a first look at performers before they hit the grass a few weeks following. Acts on the night include Grade 1's Field Marshal Montgomery and newly upgraded hosts Closkelt as well as offerings from newly promoted Grade 2 St Mary's Pipe Band Derrytrasna and upgraded Tullylagan Pipe Band who secured the World Championships last season in Grade 3B. Augharan were also upgraded from Grade 4A to Grade 3B and Gransha continue in Grade 4A. Drum Majors on the evening will be under the organisation of Andrea McKeown Gibson and will perform a snapshot of their preparations for hitting the arena in May.
